What an exciting adventure this was in the remote bush of northern Quebec!! 

Lisa Snelling, publisher of Woman Hunter Magazine, joined Outdoor  Adventures for Women for her first black bear hunt.

Outfitter Michel Mahau and staff of Club Rudy provided a friendly and enjoyable camp for the ladies. The food was delicious in the warm and friendly atmosphere of the lodge.   Our cabin was clean and comfortable and the scenery was awesome! 

Kelly Stonerock of Goodrich, Michigan has a desire to return to TV reporting.  She was instrumental in the narration of the hunt filmed by Kirk Graham, Wildworks Taxidermy and Video Production.

Dede Anderson, consultant for Outdoor Adventures for Women, planned the hunt with Outfitter Michel Mahau of Club Rudy.  His hunt was everything he promised and more!!!  I would recommend this Outfitter to anyone who had the desire to go black bear hunting.

Oh.. did I mention that there is fishing available in about 30 lakes..trout, pike and walleye.  Bring your own four wheeler for even more adventure.  This is truly an awesome experience!!!!

“I recently went on a Trout fly fishing weekend with Outdoor Adventures for Women.  What a blast – I wish it had been a full week!  I plan on going again as soon as possible.
I have been fly fishing for over forty years, but always from shore or a boat.  On our trip I learned how to wade in the river – what an amazing feeling of being a part of nature.  It just doesn’t get any better that!

The weekend included five women, one that I have known for many years and who invited me on the trip. I met three new women that share my love of fishing and the outdoors.  The camaraderie, playful bantering and Dede’s excellent cooking made this weekend a complete success in my book.  Sign me up for the next trip Dede.”      Nikki

Audrey has fly fished with husband David for many years.  Here’s her take on the outing…

“I went on my first girl’s weekend fly fishing trip.  What a great time!  This was one of the most enjoyable trips I’ve taken.  I met some wonderful women that not only were a lot of fun but interested in the same things I was.  Everyone was there to lend a hand to any of the ‘newbies’ and it was a great atmosphere for women to learn something different.  I think we ended up with a few women now hooked on fly fishing.  Please let me know when the next trip is planned, I’m there! “   Audrey Acquisti
